WRC Skip Hire is proud to announce the successful award of a five-year partnership with the Colliers Property Management team to deliver dedicated waste and recycling services across 11 sites, including Glasgow and Edinburgh. This collaboration further strengthens WRC Skip Hire’s presence within Scotland’s commercial property sector and demonstrates a shared focus on driving environmental improvement throughout the built environment.
Colliers is a recognised leader in property, facilities, and asset management, working with landlords, occupiers, and investors across the UK. With a strong emphasis on operational excellence, legal compliance, and sustainable practices, Colliers continues to prioritise responsible management across its estate.
Under this new agreement, family-run WRC Skip Hire will work closely with Colliers to improve recycling rates and reduce general waste across its Scottish portfolio. Through a combination of advanced waste-handling processes, detailed reporting, on-site segregation of materials, and continuous staff engagement, both organisations are committed to improving overall environmental performance.
Stephanie Johnston, Commercial Lead at WRC, commented: “We are delighted to partner with Colliers in this long-term agreement. Sustainability sits at the heart of our operations, and we will continue to implement responsible waste solutions that support Colliers’ sustainability ambitions. We look forward to strengthening recycling performance, reducing carbon impact, and delivering meaningful results for the 11 sites involved.”
As part of the five-year contract, WRC Skip Hire will introduce tailored waste management systems, conduct regular site audits, and implement efficient collection strategies to optimise material recovery. This approach supports both the Scottish Government’s circular economy targets and Colliers’ broader sustainability goals.
Robert Graham, Head of Colliers FM team in Scotland and Associate Director in the Property Management team, added:
“We were impressed with WRC’s investment in a new recycling plant, commitment to working alongside us to achieve our sustainability goals and working with our clients and tenants to improve recycling rates.”
This new partnership represents a key milestone in WRC Skip Hire’s continued growth and reflects its capability to deliver trusted, innovative, and fully traceable waste solutions across complex commercial property portfolios.
